Keep in mind the bears consistently trying to discuss the company and the bulls get angry and try to turn it into a fight.
I haven't seen any bears make nasty comments like calling someone a "prick" unprovoked.
If you had your hand wedged in a door and you were in pain and someone told you how to free yourself, would you abuse them? If the trapped person was making silly attempts to attack the person trying to help them, desperately hoping to hurt them (even though it may be a futile effort), could you blame the person for laughing?
Something to remember is that when you see people with differences of opinions, the incorrect side is almost always the one trying to silence the other. The truth doesn't mind being questioned and scrutinised. The side of truth is happy to have an analysis. The side of truth is fine with allowing everyone to have their say and everything being examined carefully.
Your inability to accept the clear reality in front of you is your own problem. Don't get angry at the people pointing at the reality you don't like, just focus on your own ability to see reality.
generalernesto: Why do you believe you have no choice but to be a believer? Why is accepting reality not an option? Even if your holding is now an unmarketable parcel (which would mean you haven't lost much money unless you bought in right around the top, and even then you couldn't have lost more than $10k, and that's if you bought right at the very top and only just dipped below marketable parcel status), why do you believe you are somehow being forced not to see reality as it is? If I'd not been willing to accept reality when I did and I was still holding, I'd have lost the best part of a hundred grand, as opposed to getting out unscathed. Even if I had lost a lot of money, getting out when I did would have been better than losing a lot more. Even if you now hold an unmarketable parcel and all is lost, surely it's good practise to accept reality and be realistic, if for no other reason than getting into the habit of getting it right next time rather than developing a strategy of playing ostrich and losing again with other investments. Surely even if no money is on the line, life is better when we see reality as it is rather than as something it's not.
It's interesting to be at the stage where we are literally seeing holders starting to openly acknowledge that they are choosing not to try to see reality objectively!
