Talk about ‘nearology’! I was happy when we came to be right next to the world’s second largest mining company. Now also the world’s third largest lithium company is even more reassuring, as it increases the opportunity for future collaborative synergies. This take-over of LTM is great news for AGY in my opinion. AGY is no commercial threat to such a titan, and they will appreciate our local knowledge and experience. With our own plant issues to be worked through, and of course cyclical uncertainties, I remain confident, yet am digging in for the long haul. I hope AGY Puna Team understand how even more vital it is now to develop the closest possible liaison with their RIO neighbours.
