There is no need to "suspect", when there is information out there that clarifies the various arrangements that producers have with customers.
For example, earlier this week AKE held a QTRLY conference call where they provided some insight to their contracts and how pricing is negotiated with various customers. They provided insight into how contracts vary and what they are tied to. They clarified expectations for the upcoming period and provided details on the spread in pricing they expect.
