They are interesting developments IMO. The fact that producers, whether they be rock or chemicals are setting up shop by way of joint ventures directly with end users.
it has been talk about a lot in the industry about auto manufacturers directly funding or getting into bed with lithium producers.
This is a real industry change, Toyoata is in a jv with a chemical producer, you never saw Toyota in a jv with a petrol company (for example).
I think it also speaks of end users willing or having to fund these types of plants to ensure security of supply and at their specification.
