does anyone know if meta data on trades can be traced to individuals? for example can a computer identify who placed a trade and when and then define algorithms to anticipate what their next trade might be.
if someone bought shares 12 months ago and now qualify for the CGT discount, could a trading platform be aware of this
just asking for a paranoid friend!
