the other big tick box item brine has over spod is the green credentials which will form part of the OEM carbon credit system, this adds a lot of value in itself.
like you said, Spod is much easier, find it, dig it, send it. But massive overheads and less reward. Brine is a much more complex opperation which isn't widely understood. But the reward however is massive.
