look, the DLE issue is complex. For one, there is not 1 single DLE project that exists on this planet that is truly operational on a commercial scale. That is a fact going by all the articles I've read to date. But is it?
Livent have been using DLE for years but this process is loosely defined and does not work without evaporation ponds. The DLE process Livent use isn't true DLE in the definition of what others such as Lilac Solutions refer to and are experimenting with (experimenting being the key word here). No one can truly say what the DLE process is with Livent as it's proprietary, seems to be a lot of intellectual property involved here but certainly not the DLE of today we are referring to.
