As Jerko pointed out in the recent interview, that when talking to potential investors, they very much prefer a real working modular plant that demonstrates commercial levels of battery grade production to prove feasibility than some high-level theoretical study to de-risk expansion. Do you think all the failed lithium brine attempts over the years didn't have feasibility studies backing them? A DFS is still a long way to getting a brine operation up and running.

Now, if you hold say er..I don't know..say ASN You don't have a working plant to prove your operational viability, you don't have any foreseeable income stream to fund expansion, you scoff at going modular and your only option is to beg for US$500m to make it all work, then that DFS is all you got, and it better be very shiny (which it's not with that insane capex).
