AGY is very fortunate to be leading the pack with such a strong headstart. Argentina having more than favourable conditions in place for lithium producers to grow and freely export their product with very low taxes and royalies unlike Chile. Argentina is racing towards tripling its annual export of lithium for 40,000 TPA to 120,000 TPA by 2024-25 (Reuters) It's no coincidence RIO TINTO chose Salta province to start up its lithium project too but AGY is already a producer and soon the 2000 TPA plant will be running like a Swiss watch.
