I'm reckoning that 1. can be split, with only two possible outcomes from the filtration consultants being on site:

1.1 Issues have been overcome and may take a matter of weeks to rectify

1.2 This is too big an issue and we're giving up on the project. Too hard.

I'm not convinced that 2 or 3 are in play but

4. New govt and attention coupled with hugely undervalued project, so might as well close off shorts and lock in profits.

Volume today wasn't exactly small so not sure why I keep reading that. Significantly higher that recent average anyway. I see an orderly move to the exits over 2-3 weeks.
