As we pushed through 40, 50, 60 cents…. I wished I had accumulated more in/near the single digits.
Imo at anywhere around the current price, considering BOTH the adjustments to potential risk and potential reward (and timing), since those much higher sp levels, I am happy to rebalance my portfolio to increase my holdings here.. very happy.
What I’ve seen here lately reminds me of GXY a few years ago, when it was relentlessly pummeled to below $1. Chief hater asb83 was commentating the trend, continuously pointing to lower and lower levels, as if the “trend must continue”. Although, as we know, it is only your friend until it bends. It can bend at any time. And it did. asb83 aggressively called strong-sell even at circa 80c and had a 12 month target of 60c. It went to above $2 in that period, iirc. Then upward further, significantly.
Our “trend” too will bend, and it can indeed happen at any time…. Particularly as we get closer and closer to the macro turning, our specific milestones will have more “power” to boost the price, imo. Trying to trade pips and trying to pick the bottom is a mug’s game, as the record shows, and so I simply accumulate when great opportunity arises, and accumulate more when the irrationality becomes even more ridiculous.
I personally think that the capitulation that we saw recently was the “sudden” move down to signal the reversal. That’s coupled with several other red flags, one of which is peak toxicity on this forum lol. The recent “EV demand dropping” fear-porn adds to the equation, as do the approaching company-making milestones - that imo will be increasingly causing some concern amongst the current shorters.
I got to add significantly in the teens and also sub-10c, despite this being averaging up, so I am quite content wrt the bigger picture and considering what I see as an irrational trashing of the share price.
I am an investor that wants to buy low and sell at above $1 and beyond as the company realises its goals of +10ktpa; if I was ruthless and disingenuous, I would be encouraging people to SELL and be trashing the company, it’s progress and prospects…. But how could I justify a pessimistic position that I can’t properly support with facts and data and considered analysis…? I can’t.
Anyway, none of us has a crystal ball, but my assessment of the company being able to steadily progress towards it goals, despite the various hiccups along the way, has been proven correct so far, and I invest with conviction unless major dealbreakers arise. This has served me very well, and I believe it will continue to do so.
but, you do you, and wait for whatever entry you like, or not.
It may indeed drop again, but I am happy to call that recent move the last of it. Being wrong about that just means I will be able to buy more, more cheaply, but I am calling what I see.
