I don't wan't to get political, so I'm just commenting from a lithium perspective. I have no idea why people are excited about a Trump/Milei bromance. The incentive for an Argentina/USA free trade agreement is qualification for the US' generous Inflation Reduction Act EV incentives. The problem is Trump's campaign strategists have already explained that he plans to gut the IRA, reinstate fossil fuel support and wind back EV incentives. So if he get's in, the EV incentives go, and the anticipated FTA becomes redundant. Argentina might benefit in other areas, but it's a negative outcome for any lithium/EV investors.
