I've been doing a bit of research on and off for the past few days, so thought I'd share it here. I'm sure most people here would already know the lithium story - so the below table is focusing solely on DMI/BSL and the current acquisition and location of Hombre Muerto.

I have taken a small position over the past week and am now just waiting to see what happens next.

NB: Hopefully this will be helpful for anyone checking out DMI for the first time. This is my own research, but have done my best to ensure accuracy of information... posting tables can be problematic, so apologies for any formatting issues.

Dempsey Minerals Pty Ltd (DMI) is an Australian (Perth) based mineral exploration company established to generate shareholder wealth by identifying, acquiring and/or developing mineral projects.

Blue Sky Lithium (BSL) is a lithium exploration company established by Juan Pablo Vargas de la Vega (JP), a Chilean born Australian mineral industry professional. Blue Sky has rights to earn 100% interest in projects located in the Hombre Muerto Salar (adjacent to Galaxy Resources and FMC Lithium Corp).

DMI’s key focus is the Feb 2018 option to acquire 100% of Blue Sky Lithium Pty Ltd interests in tenements located in Argentina’s Hombre Muerto Salar. DMI has the right to either purchase 100% of BSL or acquire rights to its Argentinian projects. Upon completion of acquisition, JP will join DMI as Managing Director.

Hombre Muerto Salar is located in Argentina’s North West, and straddles the Salta and Catamarca provinces in Argentina’s lithium triangle.

Hombre Muerto Project, comprises two locations: Candelas (Catamarca province) and Catalina (straddles Salta and Catamarca provinces). The Candelas tenements are DMI’s main interest.

Candelas:Approx. 15km x 3-4km (~55km2) of Los Patos Delta, located in the south east of Hombre Muerto Salar, adjacent to Galaxy’s Sal de Vida project. Shallow alluvial covered delta, accounts for ~79% of inflow to Hombre Muerto Salar (likely LI source from Cerro Galan Volcano). Sufficient in area for evaporation ponds, processing infrastructure and process water.

14 Option Summary
DMI may at it’s sole and absolute election determine whether to complete the acquisition by way of an asset sale agreement (ie acquiring BSL interest in the mining tenements) or by acquiring 100% of BSL issued capital.

Initial option period is 105 days from date of Option Agreement (approx 22-05-2018), and may be extended a further 45 days (approx 06-07-2018)

Option Conditions must be completed within 105 days (or as agreed), including (but not limited to):
- DMI exercise option
- DMI complete $2m capital raising (Completed in 2 tranches; 14-02-2018 & 14-05-2018)
- DMI satisfied with results of technical due diligence (on going)
- Receipt of all necessary share holder approval (all resolutions passed at GM on 04-04-2018) and other approvals (not sure what other approvals are applicable)

Completion must take place within 5 days after all conditions have been fulfilled

18 Due Diligence
DMI has exclusive option period to conduct legal DD, with right to extend to assess the project for a further 2 months by issuing 3M shares and 3M options to BSL

Wow! That's great to have you on board VLV!
I view you as one of the BEST researchers on HC and to have your research saying DMI is a goer...well that a big confirmation for me, we are on a winner.

My only regret with AGY is I didn't buy it at 1.5 or even 1 cent (My avg. buy was about 2.8)

I view DMI right now as AGY at 1 to 1.5 cents.
I've taken a position a little under 5% (pre-transaction) and I'm holding this for 1-2 years.
No one knows about this yet or do they understand who JP is and what having land on Hombre Muerto means...

If DMI's drilling results are anywhere near GXY's results (remember GXYs SDV NPV valuation is 1.4 billion!!)...this thing is going to smash though $1.50+ easy.
It's a gift under 50 cents.
