I don't need to research the mid-2000s. I was invested all the way through - I'm not some BTFD twit who's just joined in the last three years. 2004-08 were amazing years for mining stocks, terrible Sep 08- Sep 09, then it was amazing again until '12.
Liontown has a market cap of $6Bn+. Galan has a market cap of ~$340M. Kathleen Valley & HMW similar size resource.
Let's halve for Argentina jurisdiction risk. Kathleen Valley in Catamarca = $3Bn.
Take away our cash, Greenbushes, Candelas and other equity investments, leaving $300M value at HMW. 10% of $3Bn.
Bottom line: JP ain't Tim Goyder.
