on deeper reading i have a few questions and would love knowledgeable input (as opposed to whining about me not being sufficiently positive).
1. The DFS mentions at least 3 times they used the official exchange rate by the National Banco, which is well known to be bullshit in the order of at least How does this impact us? Will construction payments be made in USD? presumably funding will be in USD. Are we obligated to convert USD to ARS via the Nat Banc ( and get ripped off) or can we make all payments outside Argentine channels.
2. On the back end how can we be confident in ARS being converted back to USD?
3. Galan has not commenced formal financing discussions with any party - i find this surprising.
4. The first weather risk seems serious, especially as we are entering an El Nino period (dry in Aus, Wet in South Am) does anyone know how variable this makes HMW condensation? What timeframe does a decent downpour add to evaporation timeframes?
