it is like any mining co hedge MM, do you lock in the price now or take a bet on future direction?
I reckon GLN will take the money now and lock in. If they can get Stage 1 into production in 2025 they should create the pathway to production for stage 2. Stage 2 capex may not be that large, probably a lot less than Hoopz had in his model the other day. That funding package will be supported by cash flow from stage one, so IMHO it is more important to get stage one underway quickly than worrying whether they have locked into the optimum Li price on this relatively small Stage
