We need an announcement from management before any significant movement.
The lithium story is real and we (incl. myself) are just grasping for content by posting EV articles etc.
I'm currently attempting to come up with a 'fair value' for GLN using valuation methods commonly used to assess mineral exploration companies, these include:
- Multiples of Expenditure Methods using a Prospectivity Enhancement Multiplier [PEM]
- Appraised value method
- Geoscience factor
- Expenditure for last 10 years
- Benchmark Method
*as company has no income we can only utilise either peer-based valuations or cost methods*
I'll post my results in coming days. Its been a great learning experience. It must be noted that there are significant limitations in attempting to value a early exploration project, that I will discuss in detail, and they are generally prone to over-confident valuations (as seen in one study of 35 gold miners comparing their valuations and operating performance). These models are time dependent as such anything I come up with now will change dramatically in the coming months.
