· Tesla's shift to LFP(Model 3 an Model Y) batteries could be influenced by a potential bottleneck in the supply of high purity lithium hydroxide, which is needed for their high nickel cathodes, highlighting the importance of refining in the lithium supply chain.

10 lithium carbonate plants are expected in Argentina in 2026 (4 of them with Chinese participation) Galan will be able to supply them.
