It's interesting to see you on the same page now. It seems like you've had a shift in perspective, and maybe you now grasp why I was critical of management in my previous messages.
It's clear that there has been a serious lack of caution in their financial decision-making.
In the best-case scenario, the due diligence is progressing well, and the deal might go through. However, if that's the case, why the rush to build? Any responsible manager understands that a deal isn't finalized until it's signed. This situation calls for a careful and prudent approach to capital management. This is not what has just happened.
Even if JP was absolutely certain about the Glencore deal, why would he risk putting the company in a position where they have to raise funds at an all-time low? I get that projects require funding, but why the push before the deal is officially sealed? It's basic money management: "don't spend more than you have".
JP essentially gambled with shareholders' money and lost.
It's reckless behavior that warrants an explanation.
Man up JP, please explain!
