I understand oil ain't going away but there's lots of info out there to show how fossil fuel industry has an unfair advantage. IMF published article that fossil fuel industry was subsided to the valve of $7 Trillion dollars in 2022 alone. Are fossil fuels really cheap, doesn't seem that way. I presume the tax payer is footing that bill for that and oil companies obviously making huge profits from it to lobby for more subsides. Solar nine times cheaper than coal to produce electricity. If there was a level playing field renewables would be alot further ahead and oil consumption alot lower.
