Alberto Carlocchia, the candidate with the best chance of winning a position in the Mining Secretariat.
"The state must create the conditions for investments, because if they are strategic, they must provide a scenario for them to develop. That's what we're working on," Carlocchia said in an exclusive interview with La Opinión Austral in 2021. In addition, the industry emphasises the former Patagonia goldmanager's excellent relationships with mining companies based in San Juan and Catamarca.
On the other hand, in his role as head of CAEM, Carlocchia had a good relationship with former mining secretaries Flavia Royon and Fernanda Ávila.
