If you require 40 000l brine for 10l licl then having a requirement to reinject some part of this 10l licl when converting to carbonate therefore one cannot export makes no sense. You loose more than 99% of water in evaporation and now you want to restrict the export on remaining less than 1% remaining water?
if DJ is correct then licl captures roughly 70% of the carbonate value. This is a significant percentage. Same as spodumene in Australia if not better. Brazil and Australia is very happy to export spodumene why would argentina not be happy to export their licl then?
this new argentina government is pro export and business so would hope for better chance of obtaining license.
anyways just my thoughts. As always there would be non held experts giving their nuanced comments as to why common sense will not work this time.
