Paul Graves was saying that the Government would insist on the water being re-injected into the salar to manage the integrity of of aquifer, but since 99% of the water has evaporated off, injecting the remaining 1% wouldn’t make any difference, certainly not enough to curb exports and so tax revenues. If they did export this material I am guessing they would reduce it to a dry salt, as Arcadium does.

I am wondering if Arcadium is thinking of making a bid for Galan. It is is very unusual for a neighbour to make a string of aggressive critical comments about another project. They seem to be designed to put pressure on the Galan share price and warn Galan shareholders that, according to him, its chloride strategy will not work. All of which would be resolved, of course, if Arcadium took it over and put that product through its carbonation plant.
