I thought there was some positive read-throughs for Galan in the Arcadium quarterly commentary released today:



They sound like they’ve been protected from the price downturn by the way their contracts are structured. Interestingly the 10ktpa expansion at Fenix is commissioned and producing carbonate “at close to full capacity rates” (no feedstock needed?). The 25ktpa Olaroz is also producing “although at lower rates recognising the longer ramp-up period needed for conventional pond-based extraction.”

By end of 2026 they have another 10ktpa expansion planned for Fenix and 15ktpa at Sal de Vida. Presumably these are some of the ramp-up’s Galan hopes don’t go so smoothly, thus creating demand for their feedstock product.
