I think this speculation will quite possibly turn out to be on the money.
To add to the speculation, I think glencore were in talks with AKE about toll treating it, but that door closed with the AKE-Livent merger. All the others were likely too busy trying to get any newly constructed processing plant up to nameplate to be interested.
