An innovative processThe signed agreement provides for the application of an innovative technology that allows for the direct production of lithium, which is being applied in Tibet, providing great advantages in the three fundamental factors of the process: recovery, how much lithium is extracted from what is coming out of the salt flat; energy consumption; and the third is the use of water. Direct extraction methods, in addition to being fast, have lower water consumption.This method, which has been duly tested by experts in the field with very positive results, could begin to be applied both in new projects and in those already underway.
The only thing missing from the who's who on the Chinese side was CATL and Yahua
Presences at the Chinese-Argentine forumThis great meeting of institutions and companies held in the Eastern country had the participation of entities such as; Ganfeng mining, CNGR holding, Shengxin Lithium, ZangGe Mining, HongQiao Group, Tsingshan Group, BYD Group, Xiexing Energy; and institutions: Sichuang University, Chengdu University of Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Chinese Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Ministry of Land and Resources, Academy of Mining Production Research.
Should a test of this innovation take place in Catamarca, it is likely that our neighbour Zijin (‘Tres Quebradas Project’) will be available as a partner.
The visit of the vice-governor of Catamarca is a little delicate. Dusso and the Zijin Group get on very, very well....
