With Rio's interest in the Hombre Meurto Salar, they would have to be running the rule over Galan Lithium, and unfortunately in it's beaten up, cash strapped state they'd get a fantastic quality asset for a song. Basically loose change to them.
If the Rio acquisition of Arcadium proceeds, what this space. Cheapest and easiest way for them to extend the life and underlying quality of the assets IMO.
