The first barrier any suitor will encounter is that existing board members are deep out of the money on their holdings. The 35c call options are probably the bar - especially if JP gets the massive allocation for signing Chemphys. Offer needs to have these 35c options sufficiently in the money to give JP et al sufficient pay-off. Until that's in play they're going to bat the offers away.
