The market is redefining itself by the minute. 5 hours ago I read the following on Bloomberg:Tariff bomb wipes out $10 trillion in stock market value, half the EU's entire GDP US $10,000,000,000,000
I don't know about you, but I'm losing track of the tariff conflict right now and have barely been able to keep up with the pace over the last 48 hours.
USA: Additional tariffs of 34 per cent on US imports from China were originally planned. China: Counter-tariffs of 34 per cent on US goods USA: Additional tariffs of 104 per cent apply to Chinese imports with immediate effect. These are in addition to the existing tariffs.
Then this message an hour ago: China: Further import duties of 50 per cent have been imposed on all US goods.From 10 April, new additional tariffs totalling 84 percent would apply to all US goods.
Incidentally, Argentina was hit with a 10 per cent tariff. Until now
