The battery storage is starting to make economic sense; the ROI is much better than people think; the cost and earnings of the Tesla battery in Horsdale/AU revealed by Neoen:
- Total cost €56 million ($A90 million) -a really good price but not exceptional at €434/kWh
- Earnings just from FCAS (frequency and ancillary services market) was in excess of €7.1 million in the first 6 months.

Based on just participating on FCAS market the cost of the battery will be covered in just 4 years.
The battery storage story starts to unveil now and with lower battery cost will be better and better. This market will be comparable with the EV market and competing on the same resources.
