Based on just participating on FCAS market the cost of the battery will be covered in just 4 years.
The battery storage story starts to unveil now and with lower battery cost will be better and better. This market will be comparable with the EV market and competing on the same resources.
I agree regarding big battery storage, it's a no brainer as they can participate in spot pricing to increase revenue. Not so sure homeowners get much incentive to have a grid tied battery system just yet. gtg

Real men DON'T do traffis!

Just buy the battery...full it daily and use the grid as a back up.
There are lots of numbers floating around...5-7 years is where it's at now...only getting cheaper by the month.

The longer you wait...the more you play the power companies game.
They are hiding behind SLOW GOV. policy yet, pretend to be leaders and pushing solar/battery.
