I get the feeling that most of the market hasn’t really grasped the significance of Daniel Schuster coming on board. From the ANN:

“Daniel’s last position at SQM was as Vice President of Sales of Lithium, Iodine and Industrial Chemicals where he formulated the commercial strategy and marketing of SQM’s industrial products and was responsible for over US$900 million worth of estimated sales in 2018”.

Let that sink in...

Daniel could have shown up on the doorstep of any number of lithium majors or juniors and been welcomed with open arms, and he’s chosen GLN.

I wonder why?

The biggest stumbling block for any junior in this market is securing offtakes and funding. We now have a guy that’s linked to US$900m per year worth of lithium buyers.

It’s impossible to overstate how important this will be.
