Currently lithium carbonate price (99.5% battery grade, China) is fetching CNY120,000/t, equivalent USD$18,500/ton.
To retest CNY180,000/t by next year is very likely, as vice chairman of Ganfeng also pointed that out few weeks ago.
For GLN's HMW project, at USD$15,500/t with 25ktpa, post tax NPV @8% would be $2B; at today's price of USD$18,500/t, GLN would get extra USD$75m EBITDA per year on top of the $2B NPV.
Currently GLN is just valued at USD$172m.
Versus Annual EBITDA of USD~$374m at current spot price.
