Interesting General Motors Supply Deal with Livent Corporation overnight was signaled as "Securing enough supply to produce 1M EV's by 2025"
Relic Auto's like GM are in for a rough surprise as scale and capacity does not grow overnight. Livent Corporation has lofty expansion plans across multiple continents, that requires a significant injection of capital and resources to get off the ground. Going from ~20Ktpa of LCE in 2022, aiming for 110Ktpa LCE in just 3 years timeThey are dreaming IMO !
Livent are going to need to partner up both from a Capital and resources perspective
