I'll be interested to see if Morgan Stanley has started closing their short position yet. As of Monday (31/10) there were still 2.5m in shorts. It looks like they have been adding small amounts to their short position since the resource upgrade on the 24/10 - some days are easier to tell it's them than others. I suspect almost all of the 2.5m is attributable to them - looks like they are edging further out on that limb by themselves, although not very convincingly.
I'll be interested to see if Morgan Stanley has started closing...
