This top layer, yes.... but 1.5% with tiny strip ratio that can be trucked straight off down the road with essentially zero capex will turn a profit. Try to set up a laterite mine and you need a significant ore body at 1.5% minimum in order to even get financiers to glance in your direction.
G88 doesn't need to build that. It needs a bit of dynamite, some dozers and some trucks.
But that's not what the whole story is about... the recent modelling that the team has put together suggests that there MAY be nickel sulphides below the weathered zone, that lead to the nickel in the zone that has been identified. That's where the spec stock classification comes in...
