I agree. There was certainly end of day action, but the action seemed to be a competition of one side trying to lower closing price, and another side trying to raise closing price.
That doesn't smell like a bad announcement forthcoming.
Typically this signals something like a forthcoming capital raise, or a forthcoming partner/strategic investment, or just big players trying to manipulate entry points -> majority of which such things are meaning the company is getting some good interest/attention.
I have no idea what is actually occurring, and I am not suggesting any actual knowledge - just to me didn't look like leaky bad announcement trading actions...
