More tangible progress in repurposing the township of Collie: last week a $160m contract was announced to install an Energy Storage System (ESS) battery system in Collie, click here for the article.
Don't know how much graphite is going into those batteries but more to the point it is another step in turning Collie into a new energy centre so maybe of indirect benefit to International Graphite's ambitions in Collie.
Should find out how much of a shortfall there was with the SPP in the next few days. Hopefully they have raised enough to substantially move things along so they can get the share price up to more respectable levels for the next cap raise. From memory, after allowing for the $4m the WA government is putting in the company will need another $8m or so to set up the commercial scale micronising plant. And they want to pull the trigger on that project in Q3 of 2024 (?) for production to begin in 2025 (??).
