There's a lot of big news to unpack from the Federal Government's 2024/25 Budget announcement for those in the critical minerals space, including the much-welcomed greenlighting of the Critical Minerals Production Tax Incentive.

This tax incentive will provide a 10 per cent tax incentive to
companies who are undertaking downstream processing that value-adds to critical minerals.

Incentives like this will help Australia's push to become a
critical minerals powerhouse and firmly establish us as more than a 'dig and
ship' country. It strengthens the economics, ensuring we can value-add to our globally sought after critical minerals that are integral to the energy
transition.
