    Andy, I think what you posted is about right. Comet seems to be a parasite on International Graphite as its only source of life seems to be the 16% or so of the IG6 registry it still holds. Were the IG6 share price even to think of going up Comet would probably start selling thus capping the IG6 price (again). Makes it near impossible for International Graphite to raise capital other than government hand-outs.

    My view is the best outcome of the loan would be for Comet to repay the loan with an offmarket transfer of some or all of its IG6 shares to International Graphite.

    One way that graphite is like lithium is that the Chinese totally dominate both commodities and are fixing the market price of both graphite and lithium below cost.

    I see Renascor has gone into a trading halt on the likely approval of their mid-stream processing in SA. Finally some actual progress with domestic graphite!
