I really don't know where this will go, there is a push to move away from lithium ion batteries but how exactly that will affect graphite depends ultimately on which technology wins out in the end. Silicon seemed to be negative for graphite but then I read a piece that debunked that view.

From research, what I found is that graphite is front and centre of just about every military application you can think of, and with the geo-political situation that is developing combined with China's dominance of graphite processing lends itself to security of supply becoming much more critical.
