It's used in military vehicles, aircraft, and submarines for structural components, and also in non-lethal weaponry and as an obscurant.

Military Vehicles:
Graphite is used in various components of main battle tanks and corvettes, leveraging its high strength and thermal stability.
Aircraft:
Graphite is incorporated into advanced fighter planes and other aircraft, contributing to lightweight and robust construction.
Submarines:
Graphite is used in submarine hulls and structural components to reduce acoustic signatures and enhance stealth capabilities.
Graphite Bombs:
South Korea has developed graphite bombs, designed to disrupt North Korea's electrical grid by disrupting electrical equipment.
Obscurant Smoke:
The military uses graphite flakes to create smoke, which can block electromagnetic waves, providing protection beyond the visual and infrared spectrums.
Other Applications:
Graphite is also used in lubricants, crucibles, foundry facings, and in the cores of nuclear reactors, which can be relevant for military applications.
