Starting a General Discussion Thread for International Graphite to keep the discussion in the one thread.
I am a big believer in the Graphite market and I believe that the 2nd half of 2022 is going to see an increased focus on the commodity as demand for anode material from the EV sector continues to gain traction and plays catchup with many of the battery minerals that have run hard over the previous 12 months.
I am a large holder in $RNU (Which I believe to be the #1 Graphite Play on the ASX), I have been researching various Graphite Juniors looking for an additional <$50m Graphite Play to add to my portfolio and I believe International Graphite has the potential to be a Winner.
- A Very Experienced Management Team, with downstream processing runs on the board with BatteryLimits
- The Collie Processing Facility receiving State Government support
- Membership to the European Battery Alliance (EBA250) and European Raw Material Alliance (ERMA)
My only concern is that the Springdale Mine itself does not scream Tier 1 Asset just yet, I posted last month that my main concern with not investing earlier was the mine itself. Following today's Drilling Campaign Announcement by IG6 with an exploration target of 18-54Mt at 4 to 18% TGC (Mid Range of 36Mt) it certainly caught my attention. I do not this exploration target is additional to the already existing 15Mt at 6%
I will be watching closely over the coming months to see if the drill results can further expand the current resource (Which I believe is the weak point / risk at this stage), the downstream component and experience of management is rock solid IMO.
