FebriDx is the next innovative step in diagnostics IMO, so wouldn't call diagnostics requiring machine platforms as direct competitors, rather the current and soon-to-be antiquated diagnostics model for specific use cases, such as FebriDx for bacterial vs viral infections at local GP.

@danhoff - yes it's POSITIVE for Lumos, especially tipping signs of growth. I'd have thought they would be more sensitive around mentioning key customers, but hey, information is good for all. Aside from growth, which I can assume is pre-sales production (tick), AT1's Pascal product is essentially the husk of the FebriDx kit. If you read a bit further down, their OEM sales was $321k against 151k in Pascal units sold. Basically, we can assume a large portion of FebriDx COGS is ONLY AUD $2 per unit (tick tick). That unit cost also being for external manufacture via AT1, and not produced internally once at scale for lower unit cost. In the US, FebriDx would be sold at USD $23 at hospital (see 2020 assumption here). Ie. high margin (tick tick tick)

Lower cost to patient, no need for expensive machine platforms meaning higher penetration in hospitals and GPs, and high margin for us...

Thanks for the additional info mate. Agree with you on the technology comment - most of the competitors that are capable of delivering 'rapid' tests require the purchase of a hefty piece of technology to do those tests.
