Yup. Entirely possible. Though speaking for the majors, Caldeira is too small to be on the radar. Just the sheer size of the Fe incomes, and some of the larger Au/Cu projects means a $3B NPV wont even tip the needle and doesnt make the threahold for an acquisition/takeover (hint: I'm not guessing this or making it up).
this can and in my opinion will all change as the project grows and more importantly, adds certainty towards a production goal. Which IMO it will. I believe this goes comfortable over $1 (or equivalent value as part of the asset base of an acquiring company).
i'm sold on this project, I just want to be realistic about the timeline...
