An attempted takeovers,( even if unsuccessful) in my view is very beneficial to a shareholder ,it lets the shareholder sell into that market if that is his primary goal,then the shareholder can re enter at his or hers will at a later date and possibly at a much lower price ,recent unsuccessful takeovers,case studies,ORG ,Australian Super blocked the takeover,citing opportunistic and offer too low,the other being Liontown which Gina had a blocking stake,then there’s Azure,both Gina and Ellison did their best on that one ,all 3 share prices took a beating post shareholder voting day…DYOR.
