I thought I had made my point, but it looks like I may not have. Firstly I thought I may not get a reply. Secondly, so many brownie points, so most think like you. Nothing wrong, but something I don't agree to. That doesn't mean I am right. Its just my opinion.

So firstly, I have been posting here for several months now. A common theme in my posts is that something does not look right. Previously, the moment it used to reach 25, market cap of 500m, it used to panic. Secondly, I have been writing consistently that I don't like the price action. And its not to do with MEI. Look at any advanced REE stocks, and price action is not good. MEI is unfortunately suffering because REE sector not doing well, I think, but I don't know. Read my REE Weekly reports on ENR thread, especially also for last year. Look at the performance of REE stocks. Why would MEI be different? It can be. But at this stage macro I feel has caught up with it.

Many here who want to make few 100% gains will have to wait till it gets closer towards $1. Lets look at other plays happening. Lots of smaller stocks, shells, are now buying land in Brazil. Same play happened last year around Lithium stocks for a play in Canada. The stocks used to rise between 100 to 500%, even though putting a small amount to buy some land. That was the hype. I have been writing on Lithium stocks for couple of years. I used to call this Stage 1 - hype. And they used to fall flat in Stage 2 - reality. But lot of money was made in Stage 1, and I used to play that regularly. And used to get out before they reached Stage 2. So, you can play those stocks, make 200/300% gain in just weeks and get out. Of course you have to be lucky with timings. But if you are, 2 wins and 400/500% gain. Done in few weeks. To make same gain from MEI high 20s, it may take years, not sure even if it reaches there. So its not a level playing field - on hype in weeks you can make 400% but for real deal you may have spend years with no guarantee. Look at ENV/AUZ and few others. I always used to play Stage 1 of Li stocks and now I play Stage 1 of REE stocks. Much more lucrative than hold and relax. But carries risk. If one can manage that, may turn out to be a much better play.

So you are saying, just hold and relax. Did you know that 9 months back the price was higher. Anyone who bought after that, is in red. So how come, hold and relax is a good strategy? The only people who are comfortable and happy to hold and relax are those that bought sometime back, years back. In every stock there are people who have held from lows. They have a buffer. They could still be in front if it drops significantly. How is that good for others, sometimes most? I see that argument across a number of threads that I post and read. The bottom line is - if things are going well, all arbitrary statement carry gold weight. When things are not going well, the statements get exposed. There are some who recognise. For others, they are so much deep into it, that its not about rationality, its more about one trapped. There are thousands of stocks in ASX. There are millions of holders. Why is that people still holding so many stocks, many which look like duds? Because they start believing - just hold and relax.

I have nothing against you. But this is the second time you have responded to my post in a slightly negative way. I felt I should at least let my thoughts be here, because I am also regularly posting here, now close to a year. I really wish you well. And hope that hold and relax works great for you. I was surprised you were not that confident to say sell other assets like house etc and get totally into MEI. But you may do that next time. If things work out, it may be a big suggestion of yours that has worked out, and you may get a lot of kudos. If it doesn't work out, not to worry, people have short memories, and they may forget your user id. All the best.
