At Northern Stars mine in Alaska they put some of their waste back underground .
The rest of it the tailings have to be dried and made into blocks covered in plastic and stacked in and area set aside for it
We would not have to make blocks or cover in plastic .
If as you say we have to dry the waste I am sure we can set it aside and refill the open pits as we go .
Our milling process will take out any impurities the clay has so the end product / waste will not hurt the environment.
The trees grow in it now with less impurities they might grow bigger and faster .
