If high-grade AIC isn't profitable in Brazil, there's no way hard rock is either. Mining and remediation (real mining, not strip mining) 30-100m, crushing, screening, flotation, roasting, acid. This has waste too (not as much, admittedly) and radioactive waste to deal with. That is probably why there's 1-2 miners outside china.
