the issue was the scoping study fell short of expectation. It dragged Vmm down with it. Speculators like us will tolerate low Npv based on current spot prices with the hope that these are the lows and we expect it to be well north of these prices. Instos have a different criteria. The key now with Mei is to improve the feasibility with improvements in Mets and increase the ultra high grade resource component and increase the avg grade of lom.
not stating the obvious, but REE has stabilized and moved 3 percent in the last week. If this keeps improving, Mei would recover some lost ground. Further, this is the stretch of the progression curve where the sp tends to gradually drop before the recovery.
I’m sure Mei would have preferred a higher cr. However, one can only take what the market offers and the scoping study would have determined the amount raised and at what level.
